Over 600 running meters of hedges planted

For the large-scale ecological improvement, we planted over 600 linear meters of hedge plants, which result in a hedge more than 2 meters wide.

The hedges used to be typical of the landscape, but often had to give way to more intensive agriculture. These are now being promoted again through various initiatives.

When selecting the plants, we relied on purely native hedges and planted a very large variety. Among other things, thorn-bearing hedges. In addition, the hedge is complemented by a herb border.

The hedge serves as protection and food for various animal species and promotes biodiversity in large rural areas.
